FreeApply Disclosures
Please read these before letting the agent act for you. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Automation acts in your name
When you direct it to, the agent fills out and submits job applications on employer sites and job boards using your browser sessions. Each submission is made in your name and is your responsibility. Review your settings, resume and the agent's work. Applications usually cannot be withdrawn once submitted.
Third-party platform rules
LinkedIn and some other platforms prohibit or restrict bots and automated activity. Using automation there can lead to warnings, limits, or suspension of your account. LinkedIn Easy Apply automation is off by default. Turn it on only if you accept that risk. FreeApply stops when a platform shows a warning, a CAPTCHA, or a verification step, and will not try to bypass them.
AI can make mistakes
FreeApply relies on an AI assistant that can misread postings, misjudge fit, misclassify emails, or produce errors in documents. FreeApply instructs the agent to use only facts from your resume and settings and never to invent experience, but you must still review its output. Fit scores are estimates, not assessments of your worth or qualifications.
Email access and actions
If you enable reply checking, your AI assistant searches your email through a connector you authorized, about every 4 hours while its app is open, and, as you choose, stars or labels employer replies. It does not send, delete or forward email. Email content is processed by your AI provider and stays out of FreeApply's shared data.
No employment, legal, or career advice
FreeApply is a tool, not a recruiter, employment agency, career counselor, or lawyer. It does not guarantee interviews or offers and does not act for any employer. Questions about work authorization, immigration, clearance, or employment law should go to a qualified professional.
Job postings may be inaccurate or fraudulent
Postings, pay ranges and employer emails come from third parties. Be cautious of requests for payment, banking details, or identity documents before a verified offer. FreeApply skips postings that look like scams, but cannot catch all of them.
Equal-employment questions
Demographic and equal-employment questions on applications are voluntary. FreeApply answers them only as you instruct in your settings, never uses them to choose or score jobs, and never shares them with us.
Sponsored cards
FreeApply is free and shows one card in the dashboard. Each card says what it is: Sponsored for a paid placement, Sponsored · we may earn a commission for an affiliate link (we may be paid if you buy or sign up after clicking), and From FreeApply for our own announcements. Sponsors pay for that card only: they have no say in which jobs FreeApply finds, ranks or applies to, and they receive nothing about you. Your AI assistant is instructed never to open or click sponsored cards or sponsored job links; only your own clicks count.
Data sharing is optional
FreeApply is free whether or not you share data. What is shared, and how to stop or delete it, is described in the Privacy Policy and in Settings → Data sharing.
Recruiter Talent Pool: your resume will be seen by others
If you join the Talent Pool, your name, contact details and resume text are sent to our server and shown to recruiters and employers who pay us for access. They may contact you by email or phone. Before joining, preview your profile and remove anything you would not put on a public job board, such as a home address or references' contact details. If you are currently employed, recruiters at your own employer could see your profile. Leaving the pool removes your profile from new searches, but recruiters who already viewed or saved it keep their own copies under their own policies.
